BEFORE BEGINNING: MAKE SURE YOU ARE IN YOUR SUMMER SCHOOL CAMPUS BY SELECTING IT FROM THE DROP DOWN IN THE TOP RIGHT HAND CORNER.
Directions to Create a Section (Class):
From the Start page select: School Management > Courses and Programs > Course Sections

From the left, select the course you are working on:

Select New

- Verify the Course Name
- Select Expression - Select P1, P2 or P3
- Verify Term is for the correct Summer School year
- Teacher - Section Lead - Select ADD
- Open the Dropdown box under Staff
- Select the teacher for the "Section" you are working on. (If not sure of the teacher's name yet, select "TBA")
- Room - Enter the teacher's room number
- Section Number - It is best to enter these in sequential order
- Grade Level - Enter only one grade level per section you are creting
- Maximum Enrollment - Set maximum enrollment according to max allowed per determined ratios
- Record Attendance - Select "Once per Meeting"
- Close Section at Max - Check mark this box
- Submit - Be sure to select the Submit button at the bottom
How to Change a Teacher on a Section (Class):
- From the Start page select: School Management > Courses and Programs > Course Sections
- From the left, select the course you are working on
- Select the Sec # you are making the Teacher change for
- Teacher - Section Lead - Select Teacher name you are changing
- Open the Dropdown box under Staff
- Select the new teacher for the section (class)
- Change the Room number if needed
- Be sure to select the Submit button at the bottom
- From the Start page select: School Management > Courses and Programs > Course Sections
- From the left, select the course you are working on
- Select the Sec # you are making the Teacher change for
- Teacher - Section Lead - Update appropriate End Date for original teacher
- Teacher - Section Lead-Select ADD
- Open the Dropdown box under Staff
- Select the new teacher for the Section (class)
- Select the Start Date
