This process is for Mass dropping and re-enrolling students from their Home School sites, into their corresponding Summer School sites. A list of students with PowerSchool ID's in a column format (either in Excel or Google Sheets) is required for this process to work.
Mass Dropping Students:
Note: Before starting, please make sure you are the students HOME SCHOOL SITE in PowerSchool
- From the PowerSchool Start Page, Select Paste Selection
- Copy your list of student ID's and paste them into Paste Selection box and click Submit Numbers
- Select Make these students the current selection
- Under Enrollment in the Groups Function menu, select Transfer Out Of School
- Complete fields as follows:
- Transfer Comment: Enrolling in Summer School
- Date of Transfer: Use the day's current date
- Exit Code: T160
- Select your Summer School site in the drop down box mark the Blue bubble next to Transfer to:
- Check mark the "If more than one student is being transferred out" box
- Submit
All Students from your selection will now be in an inactive enrollment status at their Summer School site.
Mass Re-Enrolling Students:
Note: Before starting, please make sure you are the students EXTENDED SCHOOL YEAR SITE in PowerSchool
- From the PowerSchool Start Page, Select Paste Selection
- Copy your list of student ID's and paste them into Paste Selection box and click Submit Numbers
- Select Make these students the current selection
- Under Enrollment in the Groups Function menu, select Re-Enroll in School
- Complete the fields as follows:
- Date of re-enrollment: First day of summer school, or first day the student will be attending
- Entry Code: E2
- Entry Comment: Can leave blank
- Track: You can leave this at the default setting as this field does not matter
- District of Residence: You can leave this at the default setting as this field does not matter
- Restore class enrollments?: NO
- Check mark the "If more than one student is being transferred out" box
- Submit
All students in your selection will be re-enrolled in their Extended Year School
Note: When students are re-enrolled prior to the start of Summer School, they will be placed in a pre-registered enrollment status. Once Summer School starts, they will be automatically activated.
To find your students who are in a pre-registered status, do the following search:
