This process will show you how to manually enroll a student. Any new students added to PowerSchool AFTER the data snapshot was taken in order to create the Summer School PowerSchool, will need to be manually enrolled.
IMPORTANT: YOU MUST MAKE SURE THAT THE STUDENTS SUMMER SCHOOL POWERSCHOOL ID MATCHES THEIR POWERSCHOOL ID ON THE LIVE SIDE.
- Locate the student on the Live side of PowerSchool and make note of their student ID any other pertinent information needed.
- From the Start Page in the SUMMER SCHOOL server, perform a district student search to ensure you are not duplicating enrollment.

- If you are able to find the student in the District Student Search, STOP. DO NOT proceed. If you are not able to find the student, select Enroll New Student.

- Complete the following fields and Submit:
- Students Name
- DOB
- Gender
- Student Number: if left blank, PowerSchool will automatically generate a new student number. We do not want this to happen.
- Enrollment Date: First day of Summer School, or the date of the students first day in attendance.
- FTE
- Entry Code: E1 - First Scholl This Year
- School Entry Date: This will automatically copy the date you entered for the students enrollment date, but in the event that it does not, please copy it down manually.
- Enrollment Status Code: Can be left as (10) Primary Enrollment

Note: Since you have manually entered this student into the Summer School PowerSchool, their Student Registration information (Emergency contacts) under Student Profile will need to be completed. This can be done by asking the site secretary or administration to send you a screen shot of the students information from the live side of PowerSchool.
Note: Any student manually enrolled PRIOR to the start of Summer School will be automatically placed in a Pre-Registered status. Once Summer School starts, PowerSchool will activate the student.
